Sveaskog AB and Its Mission (RiR 2010:8)

In an audit of the public forestry company Sveaskog, the Swedish National Audit Office concludes that the Government is too passive in its follow-up of the company’s different assignments. The Swedish National Audit Office further claims that Sveaskog has difficulty to fulfil its assignment regarding increased competition on the forestry market, as the company itself owns forestry industries.
