Energy efficiency in industry - effects of central government action (RiR 2013:8)
The central government voluntary programme for energy efficiency in energy intensive industries, PFE, has not improved energy efficiency as much as the Government and the Swedish Energy Agency reported. The Swedish National Audit Office audit gives a completely new basis for assessing the effect of the PFE. The audit also shows that increased clarity is required concerning Sweden's energy efficiency targets.
