State supervision of schools – contributing to improved learning outcomes (RiR 2013:16)
The oversight of schools by the Swedish Schools Inspectorate does not access many of the factors that affect teaching in practice and hence the pupils' opportunities to achieve improved learning outcomes. The Swedish Schools Inspectorate should develop its oversight processes so that it is better able to assess the quality of education.
